I first started collecting cels in 1998, stopped around 2004 and started collecting again in 2015. I've had a lot of cels come in and out of my life. I sold many of them between 2004 and 2015, but held on to my favorites. Now I live in Japan and have started collecting once more. Since most shows are made digitally these days it's increasingly harder to find cels, and that makes them even more precious to me.
News & Updates
- Add two new Mahou Tsukai Tai! genga and created a new Mahou Tsukai Tai! section as the addition of these two brings my MMT collection up to five. I also added a cute new Azumamana Daioh douga into the Miscellaneous section.
- Seven new cels added to the site! Two Ranma 1/2--one Nabiki Christmas Special, one of Pantyhose Taro; one Fantastic Adventures of Unico of Akuma-kun returning the horn, and four(!) from Unico and the Island of Magic--Cheri close up, Torubi running, Unico getting eaten, and a tiny mini-Unico sitting. Happy to add them! Some unexpected douga/genga in my next update!
- Six new Unico cels added to the gallery, four of which I bought back in April 2019 and only just now got around to adding. The other two were purchased in January and February of 2020 respectively. Very happy with all of them. Hope you enjoy them, too!
- Finally updated six (SIX!) Unico cels I got over the summer, five for Fantastical Adventures of Unico and one for the Island of Magic featuring Cheri. I don't know why it took me so long to finally update the site with them, but at last, here they are!
- Uploaded two new Nabiki cels, one bought in November 2018 and one from February 2019. I still have several Unico cels from last year I still need to update with as well, but I was really excited about the new Nabikis, and my first cel of 2019! I have officially been collecting for 20 years!
- Added four new Unico cels today that I'd collected and not posted between December 2017 and April 2018. Two for Fantastic Adventures (including an adorable smiling Unico) and two for Island of Magic (including a big flying Unico!). Kind of nice to update with all four at once.
- Gorgeous and mysterious new Unico cel added to my Fantastic Adventures of Unico page. If you have any information on it, please let me know!
- Just added a Van from Escaflowne cel I got almost a year ago that somehow slipped through the cracks and was never posted. Also recently sold the majestic Vegeta cel I got in 2015 to help pay for my Master's Degree...
- After RubberSlug was down for almost a month, I can finally add the one cel I got during that time--a sweet, sad one of Unico right before he discovers Akuma-kun for the first time.
- Five new Fantastic Adventures of Unico cels added today, four of which I got back in May and just hadn't added yet. Seems like a lot of Unico cels are popping up for sale recently--maybe because of the 40th anniversary. :D
